Manifesto of Health
Autonomy: self-governance, the ability of a patient to make a choice based on their values and beliefs.
It must first begin from a place of giving.
Nature rewards “autotrophic” microbes for their soil-dwelling, food-creating out of thin air behaviour by giving them the ability to survive on gases and water vapor drawn alone from the atmosphere. Such behaviour is innate to nature's autonomy principle.
Autonoma Health is born in our time as an independent reservoir of therapeutics autonomous across all categories and disbanded from the pharmaceutical rewards-based system.
Galen (c. 200 CE) proposed pneuma as a subtle material in the air responsible for the existence of life.
Our aim is to introduce a pneuma in healthcare. One that is rooted in natural supplementation yet synchronous with modern medicine. Relevant but not too out of touch with the commons. Connected through your timeline and healthcare how it should be.
Healthcare is broken.
The questions are simple. The answers: frustratingly complex.
The goal at Autonoma Health is the preservation of an ideology– healthcare must reflect the highest virtues of man, and to be in service is to be identified with good and practiced with the absence of material desire.
Such a practice upon involving the higher faculties of man fulfils a person's – telos or end.
Our users must feel a sense of belonging when they are struggling with understanding the why's behind their ailments. Health then is the absence of disease. And all disease originates from an imbalance in the humors. Hippocrates (c. 400 CE).

The Age of Intention
Rapid technological developments in the intelligence age is going to lead to more creative ways of problem solving. In such an age, every sector will undergo a generational weathering.
Many of the solutions however in care will lack the adaptability when the constraints are that of biology. Technology finds it hard to understand how we feel and binary structures are eluded from the objectives of feelings.
Faster processing powers will have us rely on generative solutions making us a victim to computing intelligence, and that in some way we are giving it full and complete control to do the thinking of physiology for us.
Meanwhile visionaries of our age are bracing systems that induce "feelings of inferiority" in the strictest sense with a whole spectrum of related traits: low self-esteem, feelings of powerlessness, depressive tendencies, defeatism, guilt, self-hatred, etc.
Corporate healthcare has been a disaster to the human race in thinking about problems through siloed lenses and small-area thinking. They are each busy at treating the symptoms but have long forgotten what treating an individual means.
The industrial revolution survived after a long and arduous undertaking, leaving behind copious amounts of trace-loads along the way, successfully reducing human life form to engineered products and mere cogs in the social machine. The consequences are inevitable, and from a hippocratic humor-theory standpoint we have far more sick than healthy people today.
There seems to be little available in such times towards the machinations of the mind and prevent it from depriving the race off its dignity and autonomy. Especially one in healthcare. The autonomous healthcare we need.
When the healthcare system breaks down and which it is already is, the consequences will be very painful. And the consequence of it will be felt at the level of the society.
When bigger systems fail the aftermath of such is met with anger, loss of a mutual regard and civil indiscipline. Feelings that always comes from a place of deep mistrust and defeat.
The Sickness Indoctrination
When temperaments are out of their natural order and with this we refer to the system has been influenced with substances that are either manufactured in an industrial facility or chemically powerful enough to induce a disruption in the constituent humors: black bile, yellow bile, phlegm and blood.
The Chinese equivalent of: yin and yang.
The Ayurvedic equivalent of the dosha's.
The substrate of such an imbalance forces the commons to make a quick visit to a doctor, in the hope of a remedy to bring back the balance but is only offered more medicines to take.
The first positive feedback loop has now been created. And each time illness was masked with a mass manufactured chemical.
The humor never found a way for its restoration. Each time it showed up, each time the immune response was suppressed. The individual slowly submits to the powers of manufactured formulations. Lacking more self-reliance on the body’s internal systems.
Willingly accepts powerlessnesses to facility prescribed not magic potions but tragic potions.
The Integrative Index
Integrative medicine (IM) is a relatively new discipline making its attempt at combining allopathic medicine with alternative or complementary medicine, to reap the benefits of both forms of medicine in optimizing the care of patients.
IM concentrates on treating the patient as a whole, both in body and mind.
While the scientific method and "evidence-based" clinical research drives the management and treatment of diseases in conventional Western medicine, alternative or complementary medicine is based on unproven yet potentially beneficial techniques that have been developed throughout history, dating back to the ancient cultures in the Middle East, Africa, and China.
In spite of the lack of evidence of most alternative medicine techniques, these methodologies have been practiced for centuries with great acceptance in many countries.
It is in the Western world, where "modern" medicine is dictated by the scientific method, that the most controversy in the use of these alternative modes of therapy exists.
Since the science behind alternative medicine is incomplete or non-existent, it is difficult for those trained in Western medicine to accept or adopt this approach.
But perhaps it is the failure of Western medicine to adequately guarantee our well being and good health that have led to the ongoing debate between the medical profession and the general public as to the benefits of these alternative treatments.
In one sense, integrative medicine may be a futile attempt to coin a new term in the hope of legitimizing alternative medicine.
On the other hand, there is a wealth of historical experience in the use of the techniques.
Of particular interest is the effect of traditional medicine, herbal formulations, and manipulative techniques on the immune system, and its application in the treatment of autoimmune and allergic diseases.
Studies are being designed or conducted to investigate immune effects of herbal formulations or their components.
Herbal plants or medicines may lead to skewing of the balance in either direction, thus may offer potential application in the treatment of allergic or autoimmune diseases.
In either of the cases, the need for a new paradigm in care is not born out of "willingness to stay relevant" but out of a resistance to applied norms in both– high medicine and low level care.
