  • White horehound (scientific name Marrubium vulgare L.) is a gray-leaved herb found in the Mediterranean and Northern Africa with features similar to the mint plant.

  • Distinct extracts of the white horehound can be used for different indications, including expectorant for bronchitis in the form of cough drops and lozenges.

  • decreasing blood sugar in diabetics, analgesic, and antibacterial, especially against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.
